Staff requiring a name change (first name and/or surname) must submit their request to Human Resources (HR) and provide any required supporting documentation. Once the request has been reviewed and approved by HR, an automated notification is sent to the ICT Helpdesk and a ticket is generated for processing.
Staff job titles and email signatures are managed centrally and are based on information recorded within staff role and JSRACS documentation. ICT maintains the software that automatically applies staff signatures to external emails, ensuring consistency across the organization. For most staff, title and signature updates will occur automatically following approved role changes.
If a staff member requires a specific adjustment to their title or email signature that is not automatically updated, they should contact the ICT Helpdesk with the details of the requested change. Changes will be reviewed and updated where appropriate.
All changes to signatures and titles should also be approved by HR.
The only parts ICT can update without approval, is by adding in non-standard information to the second line of their email address. E.g. a personal phone number for Maintenance team members.
