To share a file using OneDrive,
Select the folder/file you wish to share within your OneDrive folder
Right click on it and click OneDrive > Share
This will open up the OneDrive share menu
Click the Settings Icon
Within the Link settings Select the appropriate group to share the link to
Sharing within the organisation (2) is selected by default
When trying to share files with parents or people not within the organisation select Anyone (1)
If you are sharing documents or images that could be sensitive or contain pictures/videos of students
It may be best to Select the Can't Download option under More settings (3)
Once you have Selected the appropriate Settings
Click Apply
Then Select either:
- Copy Link if you are just looking to embed the link within an email or portal
- Send if you wish to share the file to specific people/groups
