All staff laptops are classified as '2 in 1' devices. This means they can function both as a laptop and as a tablet. As shown below the laptop screen can be folded over and operated as a tablet. In tablet mode you will use the touchscreen for navigation and an on screen keyboard for typing. Additionally the buttons and icons are all enlarged to simulate the feeling of a tablet.
This is useful for when you are on the go but still need to send emails, mark the roll, etc such as at sport carnivals or other events.
Due to this feature the laptop can occasionally be flipped upside down by mistake when in use as a laptop. To fix this either restart your laptop or flip the device to tablet mode then back to laptop mode.
