Ensure the Microsoft Authenticator app is installed on your mobile phone before proceeding!
This can be installed from the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store
To setup MFA please go to the following site on your laptop and sign in with your school email and password: MFA Setup
1. Select Add sign-in method
2. Select Microsoft Authenticator.
3. Select Next.
4. Select Next.
5. Open the Authenticator App on your phone then press the + on the top right-hand corner of your screen.
6. Select Work or School Account.
7. Select Scan QR Code.
8. Next scan the QR code presented on your laptop, then select Next.
9. You will now be prompted to test out the MFA. Do this by entering in the number shown on the screen of your laptop, into the authenticator app on your phone, then select Yes.
10. Back on the laptop select Next
11. Select Next.
You have now set Multi-Factor Authentication using the Microsoft Authenticator App!
