To setup MFA please go to the following site on your laptop and sign in with your school email and password: MFA Setup
When prompted select 'Next':
Next we want to setup our MFA through the Microsoft Authenticator application. This is a more secure authentication method than text based authentication as it cannot be compromised by phishing or sim swapping attacks.
Download the authenticator app on your mobile phone from either the app store or google play, then press 'Next':
On the Authenticator App press the + on the top right hand corner of your screen. Select 'Work or School Account', then select 'Scan QR Code'. Next scan the QR code presented on your laptop.
Next the webpage will request you approve a notification to test that the MFA is setup correctly.
Approve the request on the authenticator app. Your MFA is now setup and ready to go!
