With Teams Calling you are accessible anywhere.  However, there will be times when you do not want to be disturbed.  You can simply send all calls to voicemail.


All staff have voicemail enabled, for Teaching staff direct to voicemail has been enabled.  For admin staff, the default setting is to send your calls to voicemail if unanswered for 20 seconds.


There will be times when you want to turn direct to voice on or off and this can be done very easily.


In the Calling app in Teams simply choose which setting you wish.  Forward to voicemail, will send all calls to voicemail without any visual or audible notifications.



Don't forward will send your calls to voicemail if unanswered after 20 seconds.


*Teaching staff please note if you set your forwarding rule to Don't Forward you will need to set it back to Forward to Voicemail to avoid being interrupted in class, this is a user setting.
