There are two ways to turn off notifications.
Option 1: All notifications
1. Click on your photo in the top right-hand corner
2. Click on Settings
3. Click on Notifications
4. Change as required
Option 2: Individual Teams
1. Click on the 3 dots "..." next to the channel you wish to mute
2. Click on Channel Notifications.
3. Change as required and then click on Save
