In the event that an Issue has occurred with OneNote that cannot be resolved by simply signing in and out or closing and re-opening a notebook, it may be best to reset OneNote.
Any data that has not been synced prior to the reset will be lost, ensure that you are connected to the internet and have synced all important information before proceeding.
To reset OneNote, first go to the settings app and find OneNote on the Side bar (1)
Then go to "Reset OneNote" (2)
Enable both "Delete All Notebooks" (3) and "Delete Login Credentials" (4) to fully reset OneNote
After that double tap the home button or enter the app preview screen and swipe away/close OneNote (5)
Finally open OneNote and sign back in (6)
