A Smartboard is an interactive whiteboard display that facilitates learning in JSR. To use a Smartboard, your device must be connected to the projector.
The projector may have several connection options for display including VGA, HDMI, and Wireless HDMI. For audio: aux and HDMI cables. For interactive touch: USB cables. You will need to match the correct cable to your device's inputs.
Some common configurations around the school may include.

All of these connections will provide display only (except the lightening adaptor which may provide audio if an aux or HDMI cord is connected). These will be direct plugs into your device and will need complimentary audio cables and touch input cables.

The connections will provide both display and audio. The HDMI cable can directly plug into your device and will need a complementary touch input cable.
Connecting to a Projector via Wireless HDMI
1. Select the notification icon on the bottom right of the screen. Alternatively, click Windows+P on your keyboard and skip to step 3.
2. Expand the PC options and then select project.
3. Click Connect to a wireless display.
4. Choose the projector you want to connect to.
5. If you are being prompted to input a password, enter the password displayed on the Smartboard. If there is no password displayed, ensure the projector is set to the correct source. You can change the source using the projector remote.
6. You laptop should now be connected to the projector.
