Refer to the error messages below to correct issues that may prevent you from opening the webdav connection in FileBrowser.

"The Internet connection appears to be offline"

Check that your Wi-Fi is enabled, you are connected to a Wi-Fi network and that you have an internet connection. If at school, make sure your iPad is connected to JSR-iPad.

Complete the following to view your Wi-Fi connectivity status and settings.

  1. Open the "Settings" app on your iPad
  2. Select "Wi-Fi' from the side-pane (near the top of the list)

Here you can enable/disable Wi-Fi networking, choose which Wi-Fi network to connect to and manage known Wi-Fi networks.

"HTTP error 404 (Not Found)"

Check you have correctly entered the address for the webdav server.

  1. Select "Edit" at the top-left of the side-pane.
  2. Press the cog next to "webdav" to open the webdav connection settings
  3. Edit the address to match the following; "https://webdav.jsracs.wa.edu.au"
  4. Press "Save" at the top-right of the screen to keep any changes made.
  5. Press "Done" at the top-left of the side-pane to finish editing connection settings.

"Could not connect to the server"

This error occurs when something has gone wrong with authenticating your iPad in cyberhound (internet filtering). To re-authenticate in cyberhound, complete the following.

  1. Open your web browser and enter the following into the search bar; "auth.localnetwork.zone".
NOTE: If you are redirected to "mobile.jsracs.wa.edu.au" that means there is an issue with your device's enrollment in Airwatch. See the following guide; How Do I Enrol My iPad into AirWatch, before continuing.
  2. In some instances cyerhound may say you are already logged in. If this is the case, you can return to FileBrowser and open WebDav. If you are not automatically logged in, enter your user credentials then press "Login".
  3. Once you are logged in, return to FileBrowser and open WebDav.
