AirDrop facilitates the quick and easy wireless transfer of files between supported devices using WiFi and Bluetooth.
Note:
-AirDrop only works when devices are within approximately 10 metres of each other.
-AirDrop has no file size restriction, however larger files will take a longer time.
Sending File(s) via AirDrop
1. Select the file(s) you wish to share and click the share icon.
2. Choose who you want to send the file(s) to. The list of names which appear are based on their device names.
Note: If you do not see who you want to send it to, scroll down to Changing AirDrop Settings below.
3. An Accept or Decline window will appear on the recipient's device. Select Accept to receive the file(s).

Turn AirDrop On/Off
Open the control centre and click the AirDrop icon.
Alternatively, navigate to Settings>General>AirDrop and turn AirDrop on.
I can't see the other device in Airdrop
This may be because the recipient's device is not connected to the same WiFi (as AirDrop uses WiFi and Bluetooth) or they are not set to discoverable by you. Additionally, it may be due to the recipient's device not supporting AirDrop.

Change AirDrop Name
Your AirDrop sending and discoverable name is based on your iPad device name.
