Windows
- Open the start menu by clicking on the windows icon in the bottom left or by pressing the windows key.
- Type in "cmd" and hit enter.
- It should bring up a black window with white writing on it. In here type "ipconfig /all" and look for the one that says "Physical Address", this should be 6 sets of two alphanumeric strings seperated by hyphens.
MacOS
- Open System Preferences.
- Select the option that says "Network"
- Click on the button down the bottom right that says "Advanced"
- In here you should see a bit of text down the bottom that says "Wi-Fi Address: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx". This should be 6 sets of two alphanumeric strings separated by hyphens.
