Windows

  1. Open the start menu by clicking on the windows icon in the bottom left or by pressing the windows key.
  2. Type in "cmd" and hit enter.
  3. It should bring up a black window with white writing on it. In here type "ipconfig /all" and look for the one that says "Physical Address", this should be 6 sets of two alphanumeric strings seperated by hyphens.

MacOS

  1. Open System Preferences.
  2. Select the option that says "Network"
  3. Click on the button down the bottom right that says "Advanced"
  4. In here you should see a bit of text down the bottom that says "Wi-Fi Address: xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx". This should be 6 sets of two alphanumeric strings separated by hyphens.
